What is the weather/climate in Pereira, Colombia?

Pereira, located in the department of Risaralda in Colombia, experiences a tropical rainforest climate.

1. Temperature: The average daytime temperature during this period ranges from 19°C (66°F) to 27°C (81°F). Nights are relatively cool, with temperatures dropping to around 15°C (59°F) to 18°C (64°F).

2. Rainfall: This period falls within the transitional phase between the drier months and the upcoming wetter season. While it's one of the relatively drier periods, rain showers are still common. Expect occasional rain, but it may not be as intense or frequent as during the peak rainy months.

3. Humidity: Humidity levels remain high, typically between 70% and 85%, contributing to a warm and humid feel throughout the day.

Yes, we love the babies. We are providing childcare during the ceremony & reception. We trust your parenting when dealing with disruptive children. We will update with more info on childcare as we get closer.

Best transportation?

We suggest taking uber. It is technically not legal but if one person rides in the front seat, you’re generally ok. They are safer than the local taxis and won’t price gouge. We are looking to arrange shuttles from the hotel to the wedding venue.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and photos will be outdoors. The reception will be under a tent.

Does the venue have security?

Yes, the wedding venue has security.

Is it ok to take photos during the wedding?

We ask for no pictures or phones during the ceremony. Feel free to take them out for cocktail hour and the party!!

Can I wear a white dress?

We kindly ask that you do not.

Can I bring a plus one?

This has been determined on a case-by-case basis. Please email us or text us!

How do we get to the tropical fruit tasting?

After we receive all RSVP’s we will arrange transportation.

How do we get to the welcome dinner?

We suggest taking an uber or having the hotel arrange transportation. Once we have all RSVP’s in for all events we will update with further information on transportation.

What time does the party end?

3AM! Wear comfortable dancing shoes!!
